I'm a PE teacher that enjoys making great resources to be used in lessons with my classes. After a few compliments and recommendations I decided to sell on TES.
On TES I mainly have full unit resources for the new OCR GCSE PE (9-1) specification. Each unit will feature all that you need for the unit as I adopt the all-in-one approach, allowing you to get organised before each unit.

This is a full unit of work for the new OCR GCSE (9-1) PE Specification (2016). Please check out my other resources for more OCR Units just like this one. You can now purchase the full specification bundle from my TES shop.
This will be all you need to deliver unit 1.2.a - The Components of Fitness, including:
A 92 slide powerpoint covering all aspects of the specification for the unit. This powerpoint contains learning outcomes, all the necessary information for notes, interactive tasks, lots of embedded video clips, partner discussion activities, mini quiz and the answers to the tasks featured in the workbook and unit test. The powerpoint and workbook correspond so there is nothing you need to do other than print the documents.
A 19 page all-in-one workbook created to be completed alongside the powerpoint. This features learning outcomes to self assess against, structured space to take notes, fun tasks, assessment opportunities and opportunities to apply knowledge to sporting examples.
A topic test to be completed at the end of the unit. This contains the questions released by OCR as well as some that have been created for the unit to test each part of the specification. It also includes a 6 mark question. The test is out of 25 marks and the answers feature on the powerpoint to go through with students.
A 6 mark question to practice prior to the end of unit test.
A card game where students give ratings out of ten for the components of fitness for a variety of sports people before playing against each other. This is explained on the powerpoint with rules.
A practical fitness testing work sheet for students to record their scores to the fitness tests.
A keywords sheet to be completed at the beginning and then the end of the unit. This is a handy revision tool for students as they can keep the keywords together. It also allows them to see what they have learnt throughout the unit.
This unit has been created in line with the specification and covers each section.
I have not made this resource just to sell it, I take pride in making sure my resources are great and I will be delivering these units myself this year.
Please leave a review if you like the resource!
I have created a mock exam used to assess the physical training units of the OCR 9-1 specification.
This paper has been created to test the components of fitness, applying the principles of training and preventing injury in physical activity units (1.2.a, 1.2.b, 1.2.c)
We will be using this as an end of year mock exam with our year 10 classes.
Included in this item is:
Physical Training Exam Paper - this paper features 21 questions which equate to 60 marks, the paper will take 1 hour as it would with the real exam. 1 mark, 2 mark, 3 mark, 4 mark and a 6 mark question are included in this paper. For the 6 mark question I have made it test two different areas of knowledge (as they do now) but as our students have not started the Paper 2 content yet I have just used two physical training topics.
Mark Scheme - a detailed mark scheme written in the style of an official mark scheme which can be used with students when evaluating the paper afterwards. I have also wrote model answers to show what is expected in each answer.
The question paper and mark scheme have been designed to replicate the design/style of OCR’s exam papers to ensure students take the paper seriously. They look realistic.
We have over 400 5 star reviews on our highly successful GCSE PE units of work and are confident that our new OCR GCSE PE Revision Guides will not disappoint!
This is a 53 page revision guide for Paper 2 – Socio-cultural issues and sports psychology (02) of the OCR GCSE (9-1) PE Specification (first examination in 2018).
As a PE teacher who was unsatisfied with the revision guides available on the market I decided to create this for our students. As a department, we believe that this revision guide is as good, if not better than the ones available from publishers. However, with this one you will only need to purchase the file once then print as many as you need for years to come meaning this could offer you excellent value.
The guide has been created in line with the specification to feature <b>everything</b> that students need to know for Paper 2. The information is clear, detailed and displayed in an appealing, easily accessible style for students with supporting images and diagrams. Please see the bottom of this text if you wish to see what is covered.
As well as the information necessary, within the workbook for every aspect of the specification students must apply the knowledge to create a sporting example, practicing assessment objective 2 (AO2). They must do so using one of the nine sports people featured in the booklet. By applying their knowledge to sport students can develop greater understanding as opposed to that gained from just reading through their notes. If you have purchased our resources before you will be familiar with our set up.
In addition to the vast amount of sporting example questions, at the end of each unit there are some exam style questions testing recall, explanation and relative importance skills. Also included is a mark scheme for these questions, allowing you to go through these in lessons.
You could use these booklets in lessons in the lead up to the exam as they will take students hours to complete, or they could be provided to work on at home.

This is a revision check list for that can be given to students when revising for their OCR GCSE PE exam.
Each part of the specification is covered and the list features tick boxes so that students can keep track of their revision.
As a result of having end of year exams across all subjects at our school I have created this end of year exam for Year 8.
I have based this on the new specification in preparation for those who opt for GCSE PE.
Whilst it is challenging the content can be and probably already is taught through practical lessons to avoid missing any practical time (the effects of exercise on the body systems, the skeletal system, the components of fitness, the principles of training etc).
Included in this resources is the following:
- 40 mark exam paper featuring multiple choice and short answer questions.
- The mark scheme.
- A revision booklet to print and give to students to revise. This could be used during a fitness unit also.
- A revision powerpoint to go through in lesson, we use one lesson prior to the exam to recap this content.
This resource would be great value for anyone who needs to create a key stage 3 exam or revamp their current one to correspond to the new specification.
Year 7 end of year exam also available.
